This section enables merchandisers to create and manage rules such as pinning, boosting, filtering, hiding, and sorting products on Search and Collection Pages. Follow the steps below to configure merchandising on these pages.
To create a new Search & Collections Configuration, click on the Add New Config button.
The new configuration will encompass all merchandising settings for the Search and Collection Pages.
To edit an existing configuration, click on the Pencil icon.
To duplicate an existing configuration, click on the Copy icon.
The duplicated configuration will inherit all settings from the original, including groups, rules, sorting, and personalization configurations.
Important: The duplicated configuration shares the original settings. Any changes made to these settings in the duplicated configuration will automatically update the original configuration. This feature is particularly useful for maintaining consistency across A/B tests without needing to manually replicate changes across multiple configurations.
Example: If you add a collection page to a group in the duplicated configuration, the same change will be applied to the original configuration.
Multiple configurations can be created to conduct A/B testing of different settings. A/B test parameters are managed in the A/B Test section.
Control the percentage of traffic directed to each configuration through the A/B Test settings.
After updating the traffic settings, click the Save button to apply the changes.
Each configuration allows you to manage merchandising for Search and Collection Pages separately through dedicated tabs. Below is an overview of the settings available in each section.
