- Filters are controlled from Frenzy Dashboard, Search & Collections -> Filter Settings section.

- ‘Filter Options Active’ are the list of active filters that can be used on the search and collection pages.
- New Filters can be created using ‘Add Filter Option’.
- To create a Filter using Shopify Data, click on the ‘Shopify’ Button.
- Below is the list of all the possible filters that can be created using Shopify data.
6. Once the Filter is created, please sync the required Data. Example- if Color, Style, Material, Other Variant, Product Type, Vendor, Collections or Tags based filter is created then Sync Product Data. If a Metafield based filter is created, Sync Metafields. 7. Below are some detailed examples for creating different types of Filters.
Examples for Filters
Shopify Product Variant Color Filter
- To create a Color Filter using Shopify Color Variant, click on the ‘Color Variant’ option.
- The video below shows the process of configuring the Filter.
- If you want to use the Filter for the Product Grid swatch, enable the ‘Product Grid Swatch’ Button.
- Filter Label- the display name of filter. This will be displayed on the Store Collection/Search Pages.
- Filter Display- List/Box/Swatch/Radio. If Swatch is selected, choose the Appropriate Swatch Style- Text List/Round Swatches/Square Swatches/Test + Swatch.
- Filter Values- All/Manual. All will use all the possible values under the Color Variant. Manual- can be used to choose a list of options for the Filter.
- Order Facet-Ascending/Descending/Custom. Custom order is only available under ‘Manual’ Filter Values.
- Filter Prefix-a prefix string can will be automatically removed from the Filter option value. Example if the options value is ‘Color:Red’, and Prefix is ‘Color:’. The Result will be ‘Red’.
- Exclude values- List of values to be excluded from the Filter.
- Rename Mapping- You can map Factory Color Names to Standard Colors. Example- Onyx Black- becomes Black.
- Once the data is synced go to the Swatches Section to assign color value to the Filter Options.
Product Tags Based Filters
- To create a Filter using Product Tags, click on the ‘Tags’ option.
- The video below shows the process of configuring the Filter.
- Filter Label- the display name of filter. This will be displayed on the Store Collection/Search Pages.
- Filter Display- List/Box/Swatch/Radio. If Swatch is selected, choose the Appropriate Swatch Style- Text List/Round Swatches/Square Swatches/Test + Swatch.

- Key and Namespace- these values come from Shopify Custom Data. Below is a video to shows the process to create a Shopify Product Metafield and getting the Key and Namespace value.
- Filter Label- the display name of filter. This will be displayed on the Store Collection/Search Pages.
- Filter Display- List/Box/Swatch/Radio. If Swatch is selected, choose the Appropriate Swatch Style- Text List/Round Swatches/Square Swatches/Test + Swatch.
