Configuring Search & Collection Pages

Search and Collection Page can be customized from the Settings Page. Changes made here are directly pushed to the live theme.

This page provides you controls for the following-

Collection Banners

There 2 methods to add Collection Banners.

Method 1

1. If the store uses Shopify Sections, contact Frenzy Support.

2. Frenzy Support will share Liquid Friendly Sections that allow to add and customize Banners directly from the Shopify Dashboard.

Method 2

1. If the store prefers using collection metafields. The go to Settings -> Collection Page-> Featured Image.

1. This section call allows you to add Collection Metafields to show Banner Images.

2. Metafields are of the format -> key@namespace.

3. Image Position will control the placement of the Banners. Position 1 means that the banner will be placed first on the Product Grid.

4. Image Length will control the length of the Image. Length 2 means, that the Image will span the length of 2 Product Cards.

5. Once the Banner is placed, the position count is not incremented for that Banner. Example- the product grid has 4 products in a row. We want to place 2 banners on the first row. The banners need be placed on first and last position of the row. In that case the Positions will be 1 and 3.

Custom Header and Footers

The product grid of the search and collection pages comes dynamically from Java Script. Developers can add any Shopify Liquid content blocks above or below the Frenzy Search and Collection Pages.
