How to setup custom products groups on Collection Pages
Open the search configuration.
Click Add Group button, to add a new collection group/choose existing collection group.
Click Add Collection button to add the collection pages.
Click Edit Merchandising button to update merchandising on the collection pages.
Click on Add Rules/Edit Rules, to create a new rules/edit existing rules.
Click on Edit Rules -> Product Grouping tab.
Choose Shopify Data Source and then select Product. This activates custom product grouping.
There are two options to define custom products groups-
Manually Create Groups
You can manually create groups by clicking on Add Group.
Give group a name and then put products in each group.
Products entered in one group will occur together.
Product Group Initializer
This is a quick method to initialize product groups based on Shopify/Frenzy datasources.
This means, you can use any existing Tag/Filter to group products. Example- initialize groups using Shopify product factory color will group products with the same factory color in one group. And then you can edit these groups as required.
Go to Product Group Initializer and choose the field to initialize the grouping. This step can take some time. Once complete the Job Status will be Compete. Click on the refresh button to see the progress.
Follow the steps below to initialize and edit the groups.

Note: It can take some time to reflect the changes in the UI.

Step 4- Sorting Custom Product Groups
To ensure that products in the Group are sorted by the manual order, add the Manual Product Grouping rule to the Sort Rules.
