  1. Open the search configuration.
  2. Click Edit Merchandising button on Global Collection Merchandising.
  3. This panel controls merchandising settings for the all the collection pages.
  4. Click View Collection Page and search the collection to view on the dashboard.
  5. Click on Add Sorting/Edit Sorting, to create a new sorting/edit existing sorting.
  6. In the Best Matches tab, click on Add Best Matches, and select Bury Products on Sale.
  7. Drag this option to the top. This will ensure that this sorting option has the highest priority.
  8. Note, this will bury the sale products only on Best Matches sorting option. If you want to apply the save settings on other Sorting options like Newest First, A-Z, etc, repeat the process for those options as well.
  9. Click Save to update the UI.
  10. Click Save and Publish to push the rules live.
